Had a pretty wicked storm hit around midnight…… at least 40 mph winds ….. several branches down her at the lake Looking back at radar that had to be the lightning I was seeing when it was just south of me. It was really lighting up the grass around the place here. Getting old does have it's perks.....if I didn't have to go to the bathroom, I never would have seen the lightning. On the other hand not remembering which time I got up and seen the lightning cancels out the previous perk.  Had lightning off and on for a good portion of the night. Never got a drop though. |

Looks like some action next week with a stalling front and then the 10-14 day range features a hurricane in the gulf that gets spoon fed right into the St. Louis area as remnants. Things should be picking up starting around Sunday or so. Least it isn't '1000 degrees' outside and sauna humidity. It could always be worse...

Hold together just a little bit longer.....can hear and 'feel' the thunder as the house is shaking/vibrating. I need it to hold together for another 15-20 minutes. Just mowed so a good dousing would be fantastic.

Missed by [ ] that much. It was a nice surprise to see that beautiful storm every time I turned the mower north. It was amazing at sunset from here, a dry 7 miles west of De Soto.

I had covid back in May... woke up 1 morning feeling dizzy & body ached like someone beat the Sh!!t outta me, Lost my appetite & taste buds.

Guess that's what I've got currently...started to feel funky Monday and by Tues/Wed was down and out with severe sinus drainage/pressure and wheezy lungs. Started to feel better yesterday but still pretty "meh".
Can't seem to catch a break lately...
